Front seat heater for Lada 21217

Purpose:

The Emelya UK-Lada 21217 installation kit is a single-mode built-in seat heater designed for mounting under the upholstery in the front standard factory seats of a Lada 21217 car.

The main purpose of the heater is to increase the comfort of the car by heating the seat cushion area during the cold season.

Kit contents:

The seat heater kit includes:

• cushion element,
• backrest element,
• main power wiring harness for connection to the vehicle's on-board network with alternative (non-factory) compact control buttons.

Description and design features:

The heater is manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements of the AVTOVAZ / RENAULT-NISSAN car manufacturers: in terms of power, heating temperature, electrical safety and component materials.

Every product undergoes 100% inspection for compliance with technical parameters (circuit resistance, current consumption and thermal relay cycling).

A resistive multi-core wire is used as the heating core of the heater; it consists of a twist of conductors individually coated with electrical insulating varnish.

The cushion and backrest elements operate simultaneously in a series connection circuit from a 12 V power supply circuit.

The heater design includes a thermal relay to protect against overheating and maintain the set temperature.

The heaters are fixed to the seat foam using double-sided adhesive tape applied to the elements.

To connect the heater to the main circuit, a universal power harness is used with an alternative single-mode control button that has light indications: a backlight for the seat heating symbol and an ON mode indicator.

The control button is intended to switch the heater on/off and is installed in pre-cut holes in a location convenient for the user: on the seat, armrest, console or dashboard.

The main power harness can be adjusted in length by the installer without disturbing the connection circuit.

Note:

These cushion and backrest elements used as a pair can be used instead of the standard Lada 21217 heaters, and they may also be connected to the standard heater wiring, taking into account the connection diagram of the supplied elements.

Not permitted:

• to deviate from the supplied heater kit, as design changes are possible,
• to use the "cushion" or "backrest" elements separately to replace standard heaters,
• to deviate from the element connection diagram,
• to puncture a seat with a heater using cutting or piercing objects,
• to leave the product switched on unattended.
