Design features: the main thing that sets Emelya seat heaters apart from other heaters is the unusual heating element. These are the only heaters on the market built around carbon fiber. This feature gives these devices a favorable edge over many competitors.

Carbon fiber has high mechanical strength. It withstands a load of up to 100 kg, does not stretch in service and does not break after frequent bending. All this makes it undemanding about operating conditions and ensures long-lasting performance.

The carbon heating filaments inside the device are connected in parallel, so even after one of them is damaged the whole device does not fail but keeps working. True, the parallel connection inevitably results in a large number of contacts in the construction, but the manufacturer guarantees the reliability of all connections.

Uniform heating of the seat is achieved through the optimal placement of the heating element inside the device.

For changing heating modes, the most advanced Emelya heater models are equipped with an electronic unit. Once the device is powered through the cigarette lighter, intensive heating comes on (the red lamp on the connector starts blinking). The pad heats up strongly within a short time (about 1.5 minutes) and reaches a comfortable temperature. After 4 minutes the red lamp starts burning steadily - the temperature-maintenance mode is engaged. At any moment, by pressing the button, you can cycle in turn through the high, medium and low heating modes. It is very important that if the owner forgets to switch the pad off, the device will shut down automatically 30 minutes after the last mode was selected. This protection system will keep the battery from going flat.

For seat heating, TEPLODOM produces a whole series of heaters. The simplest Emelya variant is a plain cushion that heats only the bottom part of the seat. The backrest will stay cold in that case. The design of this model is as simple as it can be and, as a result, it has no electronic heating control unit.

To warm the entire seat surface you will need a cape. This heater comes in two versions: with a regular connector and with an electronic controller. In the first case no heating adjustment is provided. Mode selection is available only in the heater with the electronic unit.

The heating elements are laid on a special material that does not let heat escape downward. According to the manufacturer, this ensures fast heating and raises the efficiency of the device.

For stationary installation on two seats you can buy an installation kit. The latter includes four flexible heaters for fitting under the upholstery of the driver's and passenger's seats, plus a wiring harness for connecting power and the heating control buttons. To hold the heaters securely, a special adhesive compound is applied to their reverse side. The Emelya line includes two kinds of such installation kits, which differ only in their control units. The Emelya UK1 kit has a combined push-button heating control unit. The other version - the Emelya UK2 - provides two rotary-type control units for installation in different places. On top of that, the latter kit offers twice as many heating adjustment modes.

All Emelya-brand products carry an official 1-year warranty, and the Emelya UK a 4-year warranty; however, according to the manufacturer, the service record of all the products is very good.
