Car Seat Heating

All publications

Not every car comes with factory heating for the front seats, and as for the rear passenger seats - hardly worth mentioning, such luxury is the preserve of top-end cars. Yet everyone wants to ride in warmth and comfort, which is why add-on heaters are in great demand among motorists in our country. The choice is wide these days, but you have to pick carefully - Asian-made goods draw plenty of quality complaints. Experts say the main yardstick of a seat heater's quality is the properties of the material the system is made of. With poor thermal conductivity, heating is slow while the seat cools fast - a failing typical of heaters made in China or Taiwan. High thermal conductivity of the material is what ensures instant heating and slow cooling of the seat. And it is this function that Russian manufacturers have taken the greater care over. That is why (and sales statistics bear this out) domestic companies hold the largest share of the market in this segment.
The undisputed leader among them is TEPLODOM, which has been making flexible electric heaters for over 15 years. The company uses only its own designs, which match the world's technical level. And no "China" whatsoever.
The company's products are known under the Emelya trademark. Everyone remembers the hero of the Russian fairy tale who rode around on a warm Russian stove. A vivid, instantly recognizable image. The heating material used in the Emelya is electrically conductive carbon fiber, which generates infrared rays. These guarantee fast heating, flexibility, comfort, safety and a long service life. On top of that, infrared rays have a healing effect on the human body. Just like a Russian stove!

TEPLODOM turns out a whole family of car heaters. The simplest Emelya is an ordinary cushion that warms only the lower part of the seat. To warm the backrest as well, you need a wrap. Wraps come in two versions: with a plain connector and with an electronic controller. The latter even allows the heat to be adjusted. If the owner forgets to switch the heater off, the device shuts down automatically half an hour after the last mode is selected, saving the battery from going flat. There is also an installation kit for fixed mounting on two seats. And in 2009 TEPLODOM launched production of a new type of electric heaters, their names again borrowed from Russian fairy tales - Gorynych and Potapych. These products use a reinforced heating wire of the company's own design. It is dependable, and in heating performance the system is a match for a heater made of carbon material.

So the choice is wide, and any TEPLODOM heater makes a fine gift idea for a motorist for the New Year. On this winter holiday everyone longs for a taste of fairy tale and warmth.
